TGI Fridays Holiday

Festive Flair at TGI Fridays

To promote their seasonal drinks, TGI Fridays partnered with Tactic to launch a table-side WebAR experience. By scanning a menu QR code, guests summon the Holiday Bartender Elf who appears from out of a cloud of smoke and confetti, then flashes his bartending flair to mix cocktails like the Merry Margarita. Users choose the drink, watch the performance, and capture photos with the animated elf to share with friends and family.

According to Sara Bittorf, Chief Experience Officer at TGI Fridays, “We created Top Shelf Elf because we want to continue giving our guests a fun and engaging way to interact with our brand and bring the Fridays spirit to life.”
